Ma Thompson'S Ham And Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 ham bone plus extra ham to add to soup
    1 can tomatoes
    1 can tomato juice, large
    1 pkg. lima beans, large
    1 pkg. okra, chopped
    1 pkg. whole grain corn, large
    1 small green cabbage, chopped
    1 teaspoon sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Boil ham until tender in enough water to cover.
    Remove ham from broth, add vegetables to broth and cook until vegetables are tender.
    Do not overcook.
    Serve with cornbread.
