Crusty Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. stoneground yellow corn meal
    2/3 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar (can be omitted)
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten slightly
    1 c. buttermilk or sour milk
    2 Tbsp. corn oil
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients.
    Add egg, milk and oil.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 400\u00b0.
