Stuffed Cabbage Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    salt and pepper to taste
    sage to taste
    1 med. onion
    1 med. bell pepper
    1 egg, beaten
    1 lb. ground chuck beef
    1 (8oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Parboil entire cabbage in salt water. Separate 12 large leaves which will be used to wrap rolls. Mix salt, pepper, sage, onions, bell peppers, egg and meat together. Form 12 meatballs. Wrap each ball in a cabbage leaf. \"If they don't want to stay together, I push a tooth pick thru.\" Place into a greased baking dish. Bake covered with heavy foil, for 30 minutes. Remove cover, pour tomato sauce over rolls, and recover with foil. Bake for an additional 30 minutes.
    Drain the rolls and serve.
