Irish Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar (superfine)
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
1 pkg. seedless raisins
2 Tbsp. Crisco
3 1/2 c. flour
1 1/4 c. milk
2 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar until white and creamy.
Add eggs and beat well.
Stir in flour and milk gradually.
Add raisins that have been floured and lastly add lemon extract.
Grease and flour 2 loaf pans or angel food pan.
Bake in a 375\u00b0 preheated oven for 1 hour or a little longer if angel food pan is used. Let cool in pan.
