Yuletide Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    4 c. cranberry juice
    4 cinnamon sticks
    12 whole cloves
    1 1/2 c. lemon juice
    2 c. orange juice
    2 c. pineapple juice
    1 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    Boil water with sugar in saucepan until sugar is dissolved. Add cranberry juice, cinnamon sticks and cloves.
    Cook over low heat for 5 to 10 minutes.
    Cool and strain.
    Add remaining ingredients. Refrigerate.
    Float lemon slices on top.
    Serves 25 people.
