Southwestern Chili Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 (4 oz.) can olives, drained and chopped
    1 (4 oz.) can green chili peppers, drained and chopped
    1 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    a few dashes of Tabasco sauce
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 (7 oz.) can crab meat with cartilage removed
    1 (5 oz.) jar Old English cheese spread (usually found in dairy case with cheeses)
    1 1/2 tsp. mayonnaise
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    6 English muffins
Preparation
    Let butter and cheese spread soften to room temperature.
    Mix together the mayo, garlic and seasoned salt.
    Add crab meat. Spread on split English muffins.
    Freeze 10 minutes if for immediate use, then cut into quarters.
    Broil until bubbly-crispy or freeze.
    When ready to use, cut, then broil.
