Beef 'N' Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 c. diced carrots
    1 c. diced green pepper
    1/2 c. diced yellow onion
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 lb. baked beans, drained
    1 can tomato sauce
    2 Tbsp. molasses
    1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. seasoned dry bread crumbs (or crushed crackers)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Brown the ground beef, crumbling it; then drain off grease.
    Set aside.
    Saute the carrots, peppers, onions and garlic in 2 tablespoons vegetable oil in a deep 12-inch skillet over moderate heat until slightly softened (about 6 minutes).
    Add the beef, celery seed, pepper and salt and stir. Next add the tomato sauce, molasses, and Dijon mustard.
    Mix and bring to a simmer.
    Then stir in the baked beans.
    Spoon into an 11 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish or 2 1/2-quart casserole.
    Sprinkle with bread crumbs or crackers and bake, uncovered for 35 to 45 minutes.
