Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pinch salt
    1/3 c. rice
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Put 3/4 cup water with 1/3 cup rice; boil for 15 minutes.
    Add 1 quart milk and 1 cup sugar.
    Simmer slowly for about 1 hour. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Beat 3 eggs, adding 1/4 cup water or milk to eggs, along with a pinch of salt.
    Stir until it boils.
    Place in a dish to cool.
