Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9 inch) pie shell, baked
    1/4 c. corn starch
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. water
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    3 egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon rind, grated
    1/3 c. lemon juice
Preparation
    Mix corn starch with 1/2 c. sugar, and salt; slowly stir in water. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick enough to mound slightly when dropped from spoon. Beat egg yolks and add remaining 1/2 c. sugar: cook approximately 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in margarine, lemon rind, and juice. Let cool until warm; pour into baked pie shell.
