Montana Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 c. white syrup
    2 egg whites
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Boil 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water until it forms a thread. Whip into the stiffly beaten egg whites and let stand.
    Boil 3 cups sugar, 1/2 cup water and syrup until it threads.
    Pour this last mixture into the first and beat until stiff. Add the vanilla and nuts.
    Pour onto a waxed paper lined large pan and cool.
