Barbecue Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 strips bacon , fried until crisp
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 can sauerkraut, drained
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp; remove from pan.
    Add onion to bacon grease and simmer until clear.
    Add brown sugar and tomato sauce; stir well, then add sauerkraut.
    Break bacon into pieces and add to the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 35 minutes or more.
