Congo Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 3/4 c. plain flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 sticks margarine
3 eggs
1 small pkg. chocolate bits (semi-sweet)
1 box light brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Melt margarine; pour in sugar and let cool.
Add remaining ingredients.
Pour into greased pan (13 x 9-inch).
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
