Ingredients

1 cup hot water
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 Tbsp cornstarch
dash of salt
raisins (as few or as many as you desire)
Preparation

Combine sugar, salt, and cornstarch, mixing well.
Add water slowly, stirring constantly.
Cook over hot water or on very low heat, stirring constantly for about 15 minutes.
Add raisins after 10 minutes, and add vanilla after removing from heat.
