Cold Oven Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. lemon
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add flour. Add flavoring. Pour into well-greased and floured cake pan. Place in cold oven. Heat oven to 300\u00b0. Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let set in pan for 10 minutes. Turn out onto rack.
