Walnut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cream the margarine and shortening with sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add vanilla and beat well.
    Add eggs one at a time and continue beating after each addition.
    Sift together the flour and baking powder.
    Add alternately to creamed mixture with milk. After batter has been well mixed, roll walnuts in flour and add to batter.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes until done in a well-greased and floured tube pan.
