Scandinavian Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 slices white bread
    2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. minced parsley (fresh if possible)
    1 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    3/4 c. cold water
    2 c. sliced mushrooms
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. tomato sauce
    3 cloves garlic (minimum)
    3 lb. ground chuck
    2 tsp. oregano
    3/4 c. dry red wine
    2 eggs
    1 green pepper, sliced
Preparation
    Soak
    bread
    in
    water\tand
    make smooth.
    Mix together beef, eggs,
    salt,
    pepper, oregano, garlic, parsley, 1/2 cup cheese and
    undrained
    bread.
    Shape into small balls.
    Brown meat balls evenly.
    Drain off excess fat; add wine and 1/2 cup water.\tPlace mushrooms
    and
    green
    peppers over meat balls. Cover
    and\tbake in\t350\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
    Transfer meat balls to serving dish.
