Prunella Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2/3 c. buttermilk
1 1/3 c. flour
2/3 c. stewed prunes
1/2 tsp. each: cinnamon, salt, soda, nutmeg, allspice and baking powder
Preparation

Blend shortening with sugar and eggs.
Add chopped prunes. Stir in milk.
Add sifted dry ingredients.
Pour into greased and floured pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 about 25 minutes; cool.
