Sausage Jambalaya - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. sausage of choice
1 large onion, minced
1 bell pepper, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb. can tomatoes
2 c. rice
3 3/4 c. chicken stock
2 c. seasoned ham, diced
4 green onions, minced
2 dashes Tabasco sauce
1/8 tsp. thyme
1 bay leaf
Preparation

Add salt, pepper, Tabasco, thyme and bay leaf to sausage and saute in oil, then add onion and bell pepper and simmer.
Add garlic, rice, tomatoes, chicken stock and ham.
Bring to boil. Reduce heat and cover.
Simmer 40 minutes.
Add green onions for last 10 minutes of cooking.
Serves 6.
