Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. lemon
    4 c. plain flour, sifted
    1 tsp. baking powder, sifted with flour
    1 c. half and half cream
Preparation
    Cream butter and shortening well.
    Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Blend in half and half cream.
    Gradually add flour.
    Add flavorings and beat again.
    Pour in greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 1 1/2 hours or 1 hour and 45 minutes.
