Sweet-Sour Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. pork steak
    1 (No. 2) can pineapple chunks
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 small green pepper in strips
    1/4 c. thinly sliced onions
    2 to 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Cut pork into 2 x 1/2-inch strips and brown in hot fat.
    Add 1/2 cup water.
    Cover and let simmer until tender.
    Combine sugar and cornstarch; add to pineapple syrup, vinegar, soy sauce and salt.
    Add to pork.
    Cook and stir until gravy thickens.
    Add pineapple chunks, green pepper strips and onions.
    Cook 2 to 3 minutes.
    Serve over hot rice and pass extra soy sauce.
