Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 sweet red peppers
    16 sweet green peppers
    10 small onions
    1 qt. sour vinegar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Chop peppers and onions fine and cover with boiling water; let stand for 5 minutes.
    Drain off water and again cover with boiling water; let stand for 10 minutes.
    Place in a muslin bag and allow to drain overnight.
    Combine the vinegar, salt and sugar; bring to boil.
    Add pepper mixture and cook 20 minutes.
    Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
