Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shortening
    5 tsp. baking powder
    3 egg yolks plus 1 egg
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Stir together flour, sugar and salt.
    Add shortening and 1 cup milk and beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
    Stir in baking powder. Add eggs and remaining milk and vanilla.
    Pour in 3 paper-lined 10-inch cake pans and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
