Strawberry Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. strawberries, sliced, chopped or mashed
    2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Bring to a rolling boil and cook for 3 minutes.
    Remove from stove and bring to rolling boil and cook 3 more minutes.
    Pour into a shallow pan and let stand overnight.
    Put in jars and seal next morning.
