Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. applesauce
2 tsp. soda
2/3 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 c. nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice

Preparation

Mix applesauce and soda.
Add other ingredients in order given.
Bake in stem pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or more.
