Sweet Potato Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. oil
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
4 Tbsp. hot water
1 1/2 c. cooked sweet potatoes, mashed
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. black walnuts, chopped
Preparation

Cream the sugar, oil and eggs together.
Sift flour, nutmeg and allspice together.
Add to creamed mixture with water.
Add remaining ingredients.
Mix well.
Pour into greased tube pan. Bake 1 hour at 300\u00b0.
Use cream cheese frosting.
