Ginger Chicken - cooking recipe

1 whole chicken
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. Accent
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 c. flour
2 Tbsp. margarine
2 Tbsp. Crisco
Preparation

Combine sugar and seasonings; coat cut up chicken in mixture. Refrigerate for several hours.
One hour before cooking, drench chicken in flour.
Brown in margarine and Crisco for 40 minutes on low heat, turning occasionally.
Cover and cook for 20 minutes. Remove and place chicken on paper towel-lined pan.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 20 minutes and serve hot.
