Basic Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. oat bran cereal
1/4 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. raisins
1 Tbsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/4 c. brown sugar or honey or molasses
1 1/4 c. skim milk
2 egg whites or egg substitute for 2 eggs
Preparation

Combine cereal, nuts, raisins and baking powder.
Stir in sweetener.
Mix milk, egg whites and oil.
Then blend with other ingredients.
Line muffin tins with paper baking cups, then batter.
Store in plastic bag in refrigerator.
Makes 12.
