"Porcupine" Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground lean beef
    1/2 c. raw rice
    1 tsp. minced onion
    2 tsp. finely chopped green pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. celery salt
    1 clove garlic, finely chopped or dash of garlic powder
    2 c. tomato juice
    4 whole cloves
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Combine first 7 ingredients and form into balls 1 1/2 inches in diameter; set aside.
    Combine tomato juice, cloves, sugar
    and Worcestershire sauce in a heavy skillet.
    Bring to a simmer.
    Drop in the meatballs.
    Cover tightly and simmer 50 minutes or place in a baking dish and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
