Squash Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 stick oleo
    2 medium potatoes, cubed
    2 carrots, sliced
    2 pkg. frozen squash or 4 c. sliced fresh squash
    1 qt. chicken broth
    1/2 c. half and half cream
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cook until mushy and tender.
    Puree in blender and pour in pan; add 1 cup cream.
    Heat until warm and sprinkle with cayenne pepper.
    Serves 8.
