Bill'S Pronto Pups - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. cornmeal
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
1 lb. pkg. franks
vegetable oil
Preparation
-
Mix
all dry ingredients together and add egg and milk; beat with
a
rotary
eggbeater until batter is smooth.
Dip franks in
batter
and
fry
in hot deep oil until brown on 1 side;
turn over
and
brown
the other side.
Drain on paper towels.
Serve with mustard or mayonnaise.
Yield: 10.
