Christmas Cutouts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (only)
    1 c. 4x sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    2 1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream the butter, sugar and vanilla.
    Add flour and salt. Chill for 1 hour, covered.
    Roll out 1/8-inch thick.
    Place on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
