Caldo De Queso(Cheese Soup) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 whole green onions
    1 to 2 canned tomatoes, chopped
    3 to 4 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped (bite size)
    garlic salt and salt to taste
    1/2 to 1 c. Colby or Cheddar cheese, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Cover bottom of saucepan with oil.
    Add onions and saute.
    Add chopped tomatoes and water for desired amount of soup.
    Season to taste with garlic salt and salt.
    Add potatoes and cook until tender, about 5 to 10 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add cheese. Cover and let sit 1 to 2 minutes until cheese is melted.
    Serve immediately.
