Caramel Icing And Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. white sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 egg yolks
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    Brown 3 tablespoons of the sugar in a skillet.
    Mix the rest of the ingredients and cook on medium heat.
    Add browned sugar and cook to soft ball stage.
    Cool slightly.
    (For candy, omit the tablespoon of flour.)
