Rumaki - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cream sherry
    1 c. soy sauce
    16 slices bacon, halved crosswise
    32 whole water chestnuts
Preparation
    Combine soy sauce and sherry; mix well.
    Pour over water chestnuts; toss lightly to mix well.
    Wrap each water chestnut with halved bacon slice.
    Secure with wooden pick.
    Brush with soy sauce mixture.
    Broil 3-inches from heat for 2 to 3 minutes per side, turning once or twice, until bacon is crisp.
    Makes 32 appetizers.
