Rachael'S Best Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 medium size yellow squash
    1/2 white onion, diced
    1 egg
    1/2 sleeve Ritz crackers
    dash of salt
    3/4 c. medium grated cheese
    1/2 stick butter
    1/8 tsp. sugar (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Slice squash and boil until tender. Blend all ingredients into bowl except crackers.
    Mix and blend together with hand mixer at low speed.
    Add contents into 2-quart casserole dish.
    Top with crushed Ritz crackers.
    Melt butter, then pour over crackers.
    Bake for 45 minutes or until desired consistency.
