Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium raw potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 small onion, sliced (if desired)
2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Place potatoes and onion in greased 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole.
In medium saucepan, melt margarine.
Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
Cook until smooth and bubbly, stirring constantly.
Gradually add milk.
Cook until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly.
Pour sauce over potatoes. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2
hours.
If desired, garnish with crumbled bacon.
Yields 4 servings.
