Grandmother'S Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. light brown sugar, packed
    1/4 c. margarine
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1 heaping tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and pour into 9 or 9 5/8-inch pie shell. Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    I fold aluminum foil strips over the crust at the edges to keep the edges from getting too brown.
