Harvard Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can beets
    1/3 c. water
    1/4 c. strawberry jam
    pinch of salt
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
Preparation
    Mix jam with water; add lemon juice, salt and spice.
    Stir in cornstarch and cook until thick.
    Add drained beets.
