Dutch Cider Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 pt. cider
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. bread, diced
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
3 whole allspice
Preparation

Boil cider, skim and add sugar.
Brown bread cubes in margarine.
Beat eggs well, add 2 tablespoons sugar, flour, milk and allspice and add to boiling cider.
Stir in browned bread cubes to mixture just before serving.
