Microwave Hot Cocoa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    dash of salt
    3 Tbsp. hot water
    2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
    sweetened whipped cream (optional)
Preparation
    In a 1-quart microwave-safe bowl, stir together sugar, cocoa, salt and hot water; microwave on High for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until boiling.
    Stir in milk; microwave on High for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until hot.
    Stir in vanilla; blend well.
    Serve hot, topped with whipped cream, if desired.
    Makes about 4 (6 ounce) servings.
