7-Up Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
3/4 c. 7-Up soda

Preparation

Cream sugar and butter together and beat until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating each egg into creamed mixture well.
Add flour.
Beat well after each cup.
Beat in vanilla and 7-Up.
Pour batter into well-greased and floured jumbo tube pan.
Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
