White Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. cold water
    4 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    3 c. cake flour
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
Preparation
    Sift flour and baking powder together.
    Cream butter and sugar; add flour and water alternately to sugar mixture; add vanilla; fold in egg whites.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes in three 8-inch pans.
