Plain Baked Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. scalded milk
3 eggs
4 Tbsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Scald milk.
Mix sugar, eggs, salt and flavoring and combine with scalded milk.
Pour into custard cups or baking dish.
Set in a pan of boiling water and poach in a slow oven (300\u00b0) until firm.
A knife blade run into the center of custard should come out clean (30 to 35 minutes if in cups).
