Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. granulated sugar
    4 eggs
    3/4 c. light or dark syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. pecans (halves or pieces)
Preparation
    Cream butter until soft; add the sugar gradually and continue to cream until the mixture is light and fluffy.
    Beat the eggs until they are blended and slightly bubbly.
    Add the beaten eggs alternately with the corn syrup to the sugar and butter mixture. Make sure this mixture is thoroughly blended.
    Add salt and vanilla flavoring.
    Stir in the pecans.
    Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
