Sugarless Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raisins
    2 c. water
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. soft shortening
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. rolled oats (quick)
    1 1/2 tsp. sweetener
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine raisins and water and simmer for 15 minutes.
    Let cool.
    Add beaten egg and soft shortening.
    Add rolled oats, sweetener and vanilla.
    Sift flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon and add to top mixture.
    Stir well.
    Pour into greased one layer cake pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Test for doneness. Stick toothpick in the center; if it comes out clean, it's done.
