Double Chocolate Treasures - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. semi-sweet chocolate bits
    1/2 c. margarine
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. oats, uncooked
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Heat oven
    to 350\u00b0.
    In a heavy saucepan over low heat, melt 1 cup chocolate pieces.
    Stir until smooth; cool slightly.* Beat together margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs, vanilla and melted chocolate.
    Add combined dry ingredients except powdered sugar; stir in remaining chocolate pieces.
    Shape dough
    into
    1-inch
    balls;
    roll
    in powdered sugar, coating heavily.
    Place
    on an ungreased cookie sheet; bake 10 to
    12 minutes.
    Cool
    1
    minute
    on
    a cookie sheet; remove to
    wire rack.
    Store
    in
    airtight
    container.
    Makes about 5 dozen.
