Cheese Straws - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. sharp cheese
    1/2 lb. margarine
    2 c. self-rising flour, unsifted when measured
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Cream grated cheese and margarine.
    Sift flour and salt and pepper together.
    Add the dry mixture to cheese and margarine. (Use hands or mixer to work until well mixed.) Use pastry tube with \"star\" plate to make straws.
    Bake 12 minutes in a preheated 375\u00b0 oven.
    (Yields approximately 100 three-inch straws; this allows for some broken straws.)
