Amish Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
    1 small onion, sliced
    1 small bell pepper, chopped
    1 c. diced celery
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. hot water
    1/2 c. canola oil
    3/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine drained and rinsed kraut with onion, pepper and celery.
    Combine sugar, hot water, oil and vinegar.
    Pour over vegetables.
    Cover.
    Refrigerate overnight; drain and serve.
