Chocolate Cream Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. cold butter or margarine
    1 (18 1/4 oz.) pkg. chocolate cake mix
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    4 c. whipped topping, divided
    3 c. cold milk
    2 pkg. instant chocolate pudding mix (3.9 oz.)
    2 Tbsp. chocolate curls
Preparation
    In a bowl, cut butter into the cake mix until crumbly. Add the egg. Mix well. Press into a greased 13 x 9 x 3-inch baking dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes or until set. Cool thoroughly on wire rack.
