English Toffee Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 bag chocolate chips
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients.
    Grease cookie sheet. Flour hands and pat down dough. Poke holes in dough with fork.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
    Place chips on top; let melt. Spread and cut when cool.
